NICKNAME:

LIVES:

Torquay

Growing up on the Surfcoast provided a lifestyle of fitness and sport. I played junior footy and cricket for my primary years alongside Surf Life Saving in the summer.

My first proper introduction to “training” came from an overseas trip through Tibet in 2018. This trip was 1,400ks to Mt Everest Base Camp (5,500m altitude). From there I continued training and built a passion for racing.

Cycling continued to be my main sport until my first Portarlington triathlon in 2017. After the event I felt hooked and went on to complete the series.

In the future I would like to continue to develop in all areas of my performance. I would also love to get involved in more interstate racing and hopefully soon overseas.

THOUGHTS ON BECKWORTH RACING

Beckworth racing has been amazing to join as a junior. Being inclusive and supportive in all phases of my development. There is a real team environment at Beckworth Racing, which some wouldn’t realise with triathlon being an Individual sport.

All athletes and coaches support each other and share their own knowledge of the sport. This has helped motivate me to continue to develop, learn and love the sport even more.
